My dad and I are watching Drums Along the Mohawk. Henry Fonda is so young and so handsome in the movie. Earlier dad and I went out to Donna and Earl's for a Belmont shindig. Dad woke up at 7:00 in the AM and begin smoking ham and two chickens using applewood chips. Can you say mouth watering? A good number of people showed up. -David, Denny, Donna, Earl, Paul, Jacob, Taylor, Lori, Dave, Terry, Larry, and Grandma Alice- I didn't win any of the races I bet. I really loved the name of the horse I bet for the Belmont, My Adonis (god of beauty and desire).

I really want to go to the Greek Festival on the Belvedere tomorrow. I am hoping to find someone to go with, but it may be an adventure I may have to go on alone.

words of wanderlust
“A kiss about apple pie a la mode with the vanilla creaminess melting in the pie heat. A kiss about chocolate, when you haven't eaten chocolate in a year. A kiss about palm trees speeding by, trailing pink clouds when you drive down the Strip sizzling with champagne. A kiss about spotlights fanning the sky and the swollen sea spilling like tears all over your legs.”
